It’s worrying that the club view neither Lossl nor Virginia as being good enough to challenge a keeper who has literally dropped the ball between his legs almost once a game since the restart.

Lossl is out on loan! Whether he is good enough or not, he isn't here to challenge him right now.

I don't rate him.

I find all this talk about his "arrogance" and the laughing etc to be incredibly tedious though.

He is just not that good a goalkeeper, doesn't have to be anything else.

Goalkeepers have often been known as being a bit daft over the years. Most of them usually had the redeeming factor that they were additionally very good goalies with all the pre-requisite qualities ..expertise, concentration, technique, application. This fella fails on all counts apart from the odd good save.. and the penny has dropped with open criticism of him growing on live tv now and elsewhere in the media. Totally unacceptable for our club as we all know. Has he been told so ? Clearly not... unless hes defying instruction ?

How on earth do you know that he is unwilling to try and improve?

Perhaps he just isn't capable of it?

He is deeply flawed playing wise in my opinion, but to just pass his issues of as being "arrogant" is incredibly lazy. There could be loads of reasons for it.

Seems like he has hit his limit, after early promise.

His world cup form was probably the best Enaglish keeper performance at a major tounament in decades, and should not be taken away from him.

But he has regressed from that form. Most likely down to a mix of us changing manager and players alot, and him just not being as good as he promised.

You know, the media seem to have this certain angle that some of our players are much much better at certain things than we see them. Pickford still somehow has this great reputation for being a top keeper, Sigurdsson has a "disappointing" game when its par for the course for him, Michael Keane gets beat by a player and it's a rare thing...

It's like nobody actually cares to genuinely watch us.

This has puzzled me too. All this “I think Everton could be dark horses to finish top four” nonsense from pundits I hear most preseasons. However, last night on motd Jenas finally told the truth “Everton were just boring”. Hearing that hurts and angers me, but it’s true.

With every game his price goes down and the interest in him diminishes. They should drop him and say he has been playing with a knock, take the pressure off, then see if we can sell him in the Summer.

We need to shift him whilst Southgate is still picking him.

Once he smells the coffee and drops him, he'll have much reduced value and will just be another tabloid hounded calamity keeper. That's all he is anyway, a calamity.

He is the one current player that needs to be sold above all others - with the clear message that Everton will not take this sort of crap any longer.

He is openly and repeatedly giving two fingers to the fans and teammates, and enjoying it.

If that means keeping him in the side for the next three games, its a price worth paying.
