His mental issues are huge. Every single member of this squad is playing above themselves, except one. The feel good atmosphere just won’t rub off on him.

A major factor with Pickford is that he doesn't learn from his mistakes. The frantic attempts to juggle the ball when hes fumbled it are like something out of a Norman Wisdom film - that recurs. The parrying of shots right into the danger zone gifting goals to the opposition - that recurs. There are other recurring misjudgement faults that surely Finch Farm must shudder at yet the farce continues. The berk is putting so much pressure on the likes of the already nervy Keane and also causing great concern for Don Carlo when the man should be fully enjoying how his plans are materialising. Starting to take the shine off this magnificent start to the season for me now.

Yes, as there’s defo a correlation between the pressure on him to retain that shirt and his concentration levels.

He’s had no real competition for his shirt at Everton since the day he arrived, and it shows.

Midfield and defence were a priority.

Defensive midfielder(s), attacking midfielder / playmaker, GK were the priorities. We've bought well on the first two, and not at all on the latter.

It's a major issue for us. 15 points minimum he'll cost us.

Another big error yesterday, that fortunately didn't cost the team anything, although i imagine that the defence are getting a bit tired of not getting the cleansheets they deserve.
Worth noting that other goalkeepers yesterday playing in better conditions made very similar handling errors under pressure, notably Ederson, as he also conceded from his.
We still need proper competition for Pickford and until that arrives i will continue (by force) to have faith in his abilities.

Ederson doesnt do it every game, thats the difference. All players makes mistakes, theyre human after all. But Pickford is making them at such a rapid clip and doesnt seem to learn or improve. Its going to cost us, we wont be able to score 4-5 goals in every match through the season.
