This will be the making or breaking of Pickford and I think he is mentally strong enough for this to get him back on track.

The absolute hysteria about this one incident has gotten to a silly level. If he had tried to shoot Van Dijk I don't think the reaction would be any worse.
Evertonians now need to rally around their players and support them more than ever... Pickford most of all.

We need that siege mentality of everybody hating us but we don't care.

The reaction from Liverpool is , I think, a little unhinged and I will be interested to see how they cope.
It sounds a little as if they believe they need Van Dijk and lack confidence without him.

Yeah, Hutchison was badly exposed there, siding with the hysterical mob. All credibility gone. Only Steve Nicol walked away with any dignity. He had pop at Pickford, who he reckons is "wired" incorrectly, and Richarlison who he described as a "hothead", but completely dismissed Laurens's rantings as nonsense. It's come to something when an ex-Evertonian is on the wrong side of a debate with Steve Nicol.
 
I suppose us just totally ignoring this all is a statement in itself that we don't care what the rs say, but they do need to be piped down now. Jordan knows he has the club's support, thankfully we're not a vein club that has to let all of the media know absolutely everything about us.

If we do our talking on the pitch then that's good enough, however, if the police find nobody wrong in the disgusting remarks their fans have been posting on social media, our fans shouldn't just let it slide. Granted our lives are too important to go trawling through years worth of people's social media accounts, but a precedent needs to be set that all this abuse has got to stop.

He has been missing some of VVD's tacles then, and what about Kuyt's double footed lunge, also Son on Gomes, need we go on. Folk like him have poor memories.

Might be time to give Pickford a rest. The media attention has beed atrocious. I"m not sure what his mental health is like but on previous form it can't be great
 
Quite impressed with the Ajax keeper Tonight . Hasn’t had much to do from a save point of view. The unbearables of course scored through a deflected shot
Onana has anticipated well and been sharp of his line. And seems good technically
As I write this he’s made his first save. And seemed to misjudge it and pushed it around the post

He's not snide, he's an utter coward who would never take anyone on face to face, but will always dish it out from behind or when they're defenseless on the floor, as shown above.

Really wish someone would end the rat.
