I would like a better keeper than Pickford, but he is not our main problem which lies elsewhere. There is so much criticism of Pickford some justified some not, and loads of leg pulling and sarcasm which we all indulge in. Maybe it should be re-directed to other parts of the team who truly are hopeless, i.e. most of the midfield.

Hilarious people are hating on him for the first goal, I’d be asking why 1 of our 4 defenders were not marking a centre forward at a corner and the smaller Richarlison was the closest to him.

yeah its def richarlisons fault, though it’s the fault of whoever put him on near post corner duty. One of the most dangerous spots from a corner.

but I’m wondering whether another keeper would have saved that. From some angles it appears it wasn’t even close to the corner of the net by the time it got to him.

Definately need a new keeper but in terms of priorities its behind a new RB, a centre midfielder to complement allan and doucoure and just ahead of a back up striker

He should have come out earlier he backed off at a crucial moment and gave Wilson time and space to slot.
Lots of keepers do that, sprint out to rush the forward into shooting but then stop in hope of saving it, rather than rushing miles to try to get to his feet by which time hes slotted.Serious, he was not at fault for either goal.
Should not have started though

I beg to differ. Yesterday was an all round poor performance by the team, as galling as it was to watch, those performances do happen to most teams...... Pickford too often is the weak link, the difference between 3 points and 1 (or non). The number of times he’s been accountable for losing points due to bad goalkeeping far outweigh the number of times he’s won us points imho. He is capable of the sublime, but is far more likely to produce the ridiculous.

We will always have the st Virgil's day massacre, but he needs dropping, and should have been after Leicester.

Yes, our outfield players defending was atrocious for Wilson's first, but Pickford is too bothered about the crab Hendrick and is flapping and pushing him, instead of sorting his position out.

Pickford in simply not good enough for a top team and has cost us points this season. Olsen needs to be put firmly in as number 1.
