We could do quite easily. I've been over this.Listen, if that happens, we will never get a replacement as good. Begovic? Ha Ha
Who would you have? Eh?
Yeah dead right if they would extend contracts then you would but if they don't commit then you have to do the sensible thing and move them on especially with FFP and the way it is.2 years on his deal, same as Richarlison.
Thats the issue and if we extend then great...top keeper sorted for 5 years.
If not then £40mil++ and we may even sign a keeper for half the fee who turns out just as good.
Cant argue with keeping him...top class.
Back line is in much better order now for me. Still prone as we all witnessed today. Far too many times Pickford has been exposed by his defender's. Southhall would have never gone into the dressing at half time for much of this season. Only since City game has Pickford got the defensive line any goalkeeper deserves.Last two games he's been producing saves worthy of peak Southall, no bigger compliment can give the lad than saying that.
You know FA about being a goalieWe could do quite easily. I've been over this.
The question is which top team which has a budget of 40m to spend on a keeper requires one. Only possibly Spurs with him replacing Lloris but no way does Levy pay top dollar for any player.Yeah dead right if they would extend contracts then you would but if they don't commit then you have to do the sensible thing and move them on especially with FFP and the way it is.
That remains to be seen but i bet his recent performances have raised a few interested parties, will he go for £40m I've no idea, he'll go for whatever his market value is. I'm saying that the time has come to either get an extension in place or sell before his value inevitably drops as his contract runs down. Either way there would be plenty of teams interested in him if he became available. The question is which top team which has a budget of 40m to spend on a keeper requires one. If we stay up I think it’s a straight race between him and Gordon for Everton player of the season
So who? Who do we “quite easily” get who is as good as or better than (should be limited to better really, since it’s “quite easy”) England’s best goalkeeper? We could do quite easily. I've been over this.
As if he’d go there lollollolIf Newcastle are after a marquee signing then England's number 1 is certainly that, and they'd pay a premium too coz we know they're rich. £60m and I'd be happy as long as it funds the rebuild, if he's staying he needs tying down to a new contract.
