He was great at the end of last season. He seems to really be maturing now and seems more mellow in his interviews.

I really hope he becomes a fan favourite. We beg for loyalty these days and Pickford has been very much that for us.

There’s no reason he shouldn’t. I was once somewhat critical of some of Pickford’s characteristics, but I’ll happily admit he’s proven me wrong.

There’s no reason he shouldn’t have done likewise for others, however we know that Evertonians can become entrenched in their views.

Without him, we’d have been down last season, and he’s easily one of the best keepers in the league if not even wider.

It's fine to see one of the few players definitely good enough for this level playing like he's not. Perfectly fine.

Post match Jordan was the only Everton player to come out and sign autographs for the supporters. It was the last thing in the world he wanted to do, but I thought that was a stand up thing to do. We will need him this season.
