Good to hear. The lads not perfect but without him we’d have got relegated last season no doubt in my mind and there’s no way we could replace him with same or better quality.
Probably our best player now Richy has gone.

He was great at the end of last season. He seems to really be maturing now and seems more mellow in his interviews.
I really hope he becomes a fan favourite. We beg for loyalty these days and Pickford has been very much that for us.
There’s no reason he shouldn’t. I was once somewhat critical of some of Pickford’s characteristics, but I’ll happily admit he’s proven me wrong.
There’s no reason he shouldn’t have done likewise for others, however we know that Evertonians can become entrenched in their views.
Without him, we’d have been down last season, and he’s easily one of the best keepers in the league if not even wider.
