Dont think anyone is blaming him today but he's just a very average (at best) goalkeeper.

In his last two away games he's let two go in that were down his throat, i could have threw my cap on them

The second goal has gone in straight down the center of the goal. He's not solely to blame of course but we need to stop pretending goalkeeper isn't a position we need to seek upgrades at.

name a keeper as always that we can get that is as you say an upgrade that will come to Everton, Not a chance with the goal for me, so close and a fast shot, i am all for a upgrade but no keeper with defence half the time we have will cope

because as you say there are better keepers, so name 1 that we can actually get, not hard, instead of saying better keepers and not naming names

It's funny because the people who really think Pickford is great try to paint those asking questions of expecting too much like he should save every shot and really it is almost the opposite, you all can find a way to let a lot of questionable goalkeeping go.

Walter Benitez, Keon Casteels, Alban LaFont, that Rui Silva we were linked with before. Honestly half the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 have keepers who are at least as good and none of those guys would say no. Just a matter of scouting out which one is actually the most suited to the PL.

No chance, it’s hit that hard. The problems before him are the ones we need to worry about. Godfrey out of position, Keane getting pulled wide to stop the cross, then holgate not getting the block in.

That’s your 3 centre backs all doing their job incorrectly. But blame Pickford ?? His fault. Great narrative.

We probably have more pressing concerns than the keeper, but yes, the second (most important) goal should have been saved. Keepers should use their feet when the ball is hit low and close to their bodies (david de gea been doing it for years).

How many times has pickford been beaten by headers flying across his goal this season? I've lost count. Crap defenders in front of him, but he has been average at best.
