Sounds a bit fishy that figure unless his agents have said it’s the only way he’s signing. If true I suspect he will be off end of the season wherever we finish.
Would have to say fair play to him too as if that is the intention he could have gone for free anyway but would appear to have been content so see us get a reasonable fee.
