Birds of a feather flock together
The ppl up there are so incompetent. The contract should have signed and sealed before the World Cup.I don't think he'd be going to play with Harry.

Spurs I reckon, they need a new keeperHe’s got a couple more left in him I reckon, 28 years old and likely to play until he’s 35. Can see him going to a top 4 club and getting a new one after a couple of years.

I rather we keep the England no 1. He was going to sign so why don’t the contract signed and sealed before the World Cup. Another indication of incompetent from the management.I think that keepers are largely interchangeable with almost no difference. Pickford has a calamity in him almost every match, so do most keepers. Pickford is EXCELLENT at reactionary saves for the most part. If he wants to leave, shake his hand, thank him for his service and replace. Yes Pickford was great at the end of last year but I think we would be fine. Provided, of course, we didn't massively ballsup the replacement/reinvestment which we are just top of the league in doing.
Indeed although they seem to be the tightest of the ‘top clubs’ ?.Spurs I reckon, they need a new keeper
Well, frankly, because we suck. I guess the question is simply in which variant will we suck less in; the one with Pickford and little else or the one without Pickford and being able to add to other places.I rather we keep the England no 1. The worrying thing is that we use his fee to buy more McNeil mk2.Well, frankly, because we suck. I guess the question is simply in which variant will we suck less in; the one with Pickford and little else or the one without Pickford and being able to add to other places.
Again, this is all predicated on the board and Thelwell not screwing literally everything up which is a mssive massive ask apparently.
I'm also not advocating for him to go. If he wants to, let him go. Should have done the same with Gordon. When someone wants to leave, you let them leave provided a good offer comes in.
1000%The worrying thing is that we use his fee to buy more McNeil mk2.
Agree, he’s gone and can’t blame him. The sell off of the quality players we had will be complete. All that remains is to follow the now well charted path of replacing him with someone poorer to add to the other diddies in the squad.I'd be amazed if the guy didn't want out.
He's England's no.1 and he's involved in a relegation scrap, again.
Why would you when you're good enough for a side at the other end of the table?
Unfortunately, we probably would need to spend about that much. Because Kev T would take five attempts to find someone half-decent, and even then they'd probably end up being on about the same level as Pickford.Sa cost Wolves €8m and there’s people that will come on here with a straight face and tell you we’d need to spend £70m to replace Pickford. Sa is the better keeper in my opinion.

I can't fathom how experienced professionals who are paid to evaluate players have come to the conclusion that signing McNeil and Maupay was a good idea Mike. What is going on here please
Maupay was clearly a move of convenience. It doesn't make it smart, but I don't think they looked at and said Maupay takes us up a level so much as DCL needs a backup who is able to kick the ball in the PL.Unfortunately, we probably would need to spend about that much. Yeah, I get that, and I could accept it if Maupay was a decent player. But he's not. He's rubbish.Maupay was clearly a move of convenience. It doesn't make it smart, but I don't think they looked at and said Maupay takes us up a level so much as Dominic Calvert-Lewin needs a backup who is able to kick the ball in the PL.
