Can someone help me out here? How does a 23 year old qualify for a u21 championship?

As long as they are 21 on the first game of the qualifiers then they qualify as it's unfair on someone for instance to play all the qualifiers and then turn 22 and not the competition.

Very good signing yes there are risks attached but isn't that the same for any player? I think he will be a decent signing an look even better with a defence in front of him. Was always gonna look a lot worse when he was playing for Sunderland last season. Probably will make a few mistakes on the way but at 23 years old it's to be expected. No overage players in under 21 international tournaments Friend. Only club under 23s competition, because it's just the reserves with a different name.

Probably around then. The Italy 2019 qualifiers started March 2017

Surely we have assurances from Sunderland, that they won't entertain any other bids for Pickford if we have agreed a fee.

You'd like to think so mate as we appear to have done this the right way. But as you know bids can be matched and heads can be turned etc etc.
Fingers crossed this goes through and this is the start.

The save from Rom's head is outrageous. So much confidence, so good at his near post and reactions are brilliant.

We have a quality keeper for the next ten years. Future England number 1, maybe.

I can't stress how happy I'll be once this is confirmed. For me, goalkeeper is such an important position so I'm delighted to see us spend some serious cash on a keeper who has tremendous potential to be one of the very best.

Honestly, for me this is the best and most important signing we will make this summer and I'm chuffed to bits it's looking like Pickford is who we've gone for.
