I get that, it's not good reading but like I say he's facing 20+ shots per game, goals are going to go in.

It's true, but I think a fair amount of hassle in the box could be prevented by the lad coming to claim crosses etc.

There is absolutely no doubt the defence is abysmal though.

Need a new backline.

I think everyone is just massively frustrated aren't they so in times like that everyone has a target on their back I suppose.

It's akin to being a brain surgeon whilst everyone else in the operating theatre is pogoing to a deafening punk band spitting on him. Can you blame him if mistakes are made?

haha yes I suppose it is. I don't blame anyone for looking for scapegoats though, just find it odd that all the under 23's are getting the most stick, well apart from Williams and Keane.

I don’t agree.

Yesterday summed the lad up for me. Made a couple of fantastic reaction saves and then showed his Achilles heel with startling aplomb i.e. his decision making about when to come and when to stay at home, as to be caught 5 yards from your goal in that scenario for their first goal was bloody awful. His game in that area needs a lot of work, but he’s still young and can sort it, but he needs the right coach to help him imho.

For me, when Burnley equalised, Pickford was obstructed and fouled by Wood! In fact throughout the game this happened continually.
