He's excellent

No keeper is perfect. No keeper has a spotless record

Some of the saves he makes are sensational

Yet some are still sticking the boot in?

This is why we can't have nice things

Great shot stopper yes but still has a lot to learn....
We have been so vulnerable at corners this year, Pickford has to command his six yard box....
Hopefully he will improve & get better next year but he is still far from the finished article...

Not worried about him, just needs to keep working hard on improving...regardless of the shenanigans going on in front of him.

He's a vampire. He hates crosses. He very rarely comes out for them, the 2ND goal on Saturday was 2 or 3 yards from his line that's goalkeeper territory in anyone's book. In my opinion he's just not big or strong enough for the modern game. It's not like before when a 6ft centre forward or centre half was considered a big lad, they're 6"4' and 6"5' nowadays and surely the size of your keeper should reflect this.

Totally disagree

In fact I'd say the way he's dealt with crosses this season has been one of his strengths. There have been occasions he's come and gathered a cross or punched one away that I was surprised he'd come for.

Surely this cannot possibly be serious

Of all the goals we've conceded this season, I can think of maybe three or four where you could point a finger at Pickford, which isn't bad going all things considered
I dont agree. I dont think he’s a bad player, but I think he’s a danger in certain situations. Always knocking balls into attackers, basicly making the wrong choises too often. There is real quality in him, but I think this might have been a season too soon for him to be our main nr 1.

He is a good keeper no doubt, however he is still young & his limitations are being exposed at this level....
Providing he concentrates & learns from the critisism & practices on his flaws to try & improve on his weaknesses he will become a great keeper...

Came in for some unwarranted criticism from Gary Neville last night I thought. He reckons Butland should be going to the WC as number one.

I wouldn't have an issue with Butland being No 1. I don't think he's better than Jordan and he won't stay No 1 for very long i just don't want our players going to the WC with England and getting slaughtered when the inevitable happens.

He makes saves that most goalkeepers aren't capable of, and for that alone he's worth persevering with. In a better side he could be a genuine match-winner.

Even with the holes in his game that will need to be addressed over time, he's still the last player that Everton need to be worried about replacing.

People in over-exaggerating players' ability shocker.

On the other hand, article in the rags suggest Gueye and Pickford have a problem with one another.
