Anyone who genuinely thinks the defence has been as solid as last season deserves to have their opinion on football immediately disregarded.

It certainly isn't but the defence wasn't that great last season we just had a solid goalie who didn't give up possession every time, less injured players etc

They were not made available though. Robles was available to be sold or to go out on loan, no one in the Championship wanted him.

He can sign a pre-contract abroad right now, and yet no-one wants him.

He’s conceded at the same rate a couple of times in his career.

People really want Joel back? Go and watch the 3-1 at Anfield to remind yourself what a big game choking bottler he was. Any shot on target would have gone in that day. Pickford has some weaknesses to iron out of his game but every week you can see Courtois, Cech, Lloris, Karius make far worse gaffes. Butland too was rubbish against us. Hart is abysmal, Forster tosh, Mignolet terrible, Bravo can’t save anything, Schmeicel poor. They are regarded as some of the better keepers in the league. People are complaining because he’s not Neuer or De Gea (who has been beaten on his near post a few times in last few weeks)
