Not sure what that means but Baxter signing being justified by his footballing ability is insane. Is that you Pep?
Don't think it's got anything to do with seeing anything in him.
Purely has to be down to Unsworth and Royal knowing him from a young age when he was out on loan at Oldham and at Sheff United and he's asked a favour so he can find a new club. Club have agreed to it.
But listen to any Sheff United fan...Good footballer. Bad egg.
I agree. But there's a few reasons people are concerned and I don't blame them. We're a huge football club who should be winning things, not a charity.
I think it sets a bad example. There's so many kids out there who work their backside off to make it in this game, who really inch out every drip of ability they have, but ultimately don't quite make it and are told they aren't good enough.
This fella had all the ability in the world but was happy to throw it all away to get off his head with his mates? It's hard to have any sympathy for that kind of behaviour. I hope he gets himself turned around and makes a good life for himself and has a good future. But he doesn't deserve this opportunity. Especially since he felt the need to bad mouth the club at every opportunity.
He couldn't make the grade with us last time, so his chances are going to be more diminished this time aroundSome comments on this thread are make me embarrassed to be an Evertonian
He's NOT on £5K a week; he's not Public Enemy Number One; he is a talented footballer; this is a laudable and constructive move made by a proper, decent football club.
.
Who are we to judge anyone, we don't know the background or logic to this decision - maybe we just need to trust the manager.

We already promised Wayne that job.Why don't we just give him a job sweeping up after games.
