Breaking news: The English-Wide charity known as Everton FC have humanely given an ex footballer a job cleaning boots and scrubbing the crotches of freshly soiled shorts, the ex footballer Jose Baxter who turned to narcotics during an excellent career opportunity with a premiership football club is being paid £5000 pound a week of Evertonians money in his new found roll but many Everton fans are becoming disallusioned at what their club has been turned into by the fat headed chairman, one fan said, we are supposed to be highering are standards and buying top of the range footballers to turn us back into an actual football team but alls the chairmen wants to play for is the pride of Britain trophy. Whatever the chairmans true motives are be sure to see him make a personal appearance at Liverpools food bank were he will now be spending the remainder of his days doing all he can to help the famished

Signing Baxter on a few grand a week for the youth team isn't what's stopping us winning things.

Come off it Brenz, of course it isn't. You know I'm not saying it is.

Just think it maybe sends out a bad sign to the youth teams - don't worry about getting on the gear, you'll still be a professional footballer at 24 because little old Everton will do you a favour.

What if he has changed his behaviour, demonstrated it and the club did let him back in on merit?
Footballing merit. Which he definitely hasn't demonstrated. If the club had given him some other role at the club I would have been less resistant but the fact he clearly isn't up to it in footballing terms makes this a bizarre situation imo.

Football clubs give young kids too much too young and expose them to all sorts of temptation. I'm glad our club is helping one who couldn't deal with it.

I get the feeling there's a lot of important context that nobody on here knows about. Could be wrong.

I'm far more bothered about how we have looked after Gibson than Baxter.
