....money will be main attraction, contract promises, quality of life, coaches, team mates, club profile, league profile. Nobody will guarantee game time, although I’m sure suitors will tell the player he’s just what they need. Ancelotti/Brands will point out there is no alternative to DCL so he will get opportunities.
These lads have ego & will feel they are good enough to force their way into the team.
I cant see Carlo playing him.
If DCL gets injured, surely he would play Richarlison up top?
He’ll be another Moise Kean, getting frustrated on the bench.
...Moise Kean was on the bench because he was ineffective when given game time. This lad will be used if he’s positively effective. None of this is rocket science, the manager will use Zirkzee if he impresses.

Your last bit about ego is spot on. People have mentioned him having a trial for us like we approached him, I remember it differently. He’d left his Dutch club , knew or believed he could walk into a better club and was taking himself around Europe to get the best offer and went to Bayern . A bit of ego and belief is no bad thing in a young player it can set them apart , but they need careful managing in their teen years and beyond. I’d take him on the basis that Carlo could manage his ego.

Why would he use a youngster that can’t get a game Bayern Munich. If we are expecting him to slot into the first team this season, then forget it. He has less experience than Moise Kean and a fanbase that will give him no time. If he comes, he will do a lot of bench warming. His only chance will be if DCL, Richarlison and Tosun are injured.
I do think we need a forward ready for the first team. I’m not sure he’s the player. He’s one for the future.
