Why would he use a youngster that can’t get a game Bayern Munich.

Possibly for similar reasons that he uses a veteran who couldn't get a game at Real Madrid.

Not getting a regular start at Bayern is no indication of a player's level.

I don't think any of expect a young lad to come in and make the impact that DCL is making at present.
But equally who believes that we are going to spend 50m on a striker and even if we were prepared to do so, clubs will not sell their best players.

....money will be main attraction, contract promises, quality of life, coaches, team mates, club profile, league profile. Nobody will guarantee game time, although I’m sure suitors will tell the player he’s just what they need. Ancelotti/Brands will point out there is no alternative to DCL so he will get opportunities.

These lads have ego & will feel they are good enough to force their way into the team.

I mean you can't guarentee game time, but you can get quite a good idea. I doubt Brands says to him "you are back up to DCL" but as a player either I or my advisors would ask- DCL pays up top, how do you see me fitting in?

Parma are 19th in Serie A. You can use enough common sense to see it's easier to get into their team than ours. His question is going to be- can I displace DCL or Richarlinson (if he plays a 2). If he feels he can then this has to be the right move.

You'd also have to factor in, on wages etc, we are probably considering him as a young squad option, Parma are probably considering him as a 1st team player.

...it’s lots about impact, including off the bench. We really need that option when games are tight with 30mins to go. From what I understand he was very effective off the bench at Bayern when he first arrived. It really could make a big difference to our finishing position this season.

Carlo has shown regardless of age is a player can make an impact he will use them. As for your point about first team you misunderstand why we would bring him in. He would not be first choice he would be a squad player/bench option to develop. Nobody ever said this kid was coming in to start every week. You also answer your own point we have other options so why would an experienced name player come in to be back up/on the bench and we may be lumbered with another higher earner who isn't contributing if it doesn't work out? A youngster is more likely to accept this role and is less of a gamble financially

Romano seems sure talks are on going between the clubs. Could be all down to obligation/ option to buy in the deal or just strait forward differing in valuations.

When Carlo asks a player does he want
to come here he only wants to hear yes if not he moves on.

If this has already happened I would think the only hold up would be sorting a deal out with Bayern.

Tosun has proved in the last few games ( if it was ever in doubt) he's not suited to Ancelotti's set up. If either of the others got any type of long-term problem we'd need a like for like replacement. Any player with no Prem experiènce is a risk but given the money being mentioned not a big one.

Not just a case of having to displace either one,an injury in another position could lead to Richarlison playing wider or against teams that park the bus going to a three.

I agree, Tosun doesn't fit into Carlo's plans at all, hopefully he will be off to West Brom. This Zirkzee rumour is not going away so I'm beginning to think there's something in it.

.....I really don’t understand posts like this. What happened to Kean was because of Kean. Coming to Everton as a fledgling striker hasn’t done DCL any harm.

I guarantee what happened to Kean will not impact the thought process of any young player coming to Everton.

I'm not meaning to have a go at Everton here. Just that a top teenage striker when looking for his next club is bound to be influenced by the experience of the teen striker we're now trying to offload.
