One thing about señor Juan though, he absolutely has to play behind the striker as a number 10. That's also Ross' best position, but Juan is better.

Problem is, you play 4-3-3 and Mata gets pushed out wide, but Ross gets to become box to box knowing he's got 2 others alongside him.

You play 4-2-3-1 and Mata can play, but can Ross play in a 2? Increasingly sounds like Witsel will be our man, Witsel and Barkley? Doesn't sound like theres enough bite.

Can't work out how you'd play both to their best effect.
