As for Mata if we sign him i hope it doesnt affect barkley.

Barkley needs to stop being wrapped in cotton wool, especially by the fans. Collymore was bang on about Barkley but he was treated as though he had just killed everyones mothers...

Team comes first, Mata is the vastly superior number 10 and so Barkley will either up his game or play elsewhere (seems more suited to a box to box anyway)

To be honest that just means that everyone on this website stuck a tenner on it and the bookies panicked... Hope it's true though obviously, he would automatically be our best player and would definitely help attract other talent and keep the likes of Lukaku and Stones.

I'm very confident it will be a successful era. But with crap like Twitter these days everyone makes up stories about great players going to what seem inferior clubs. Most don't believe what we'll be because they haven't seen anything happen yet - fair enough imo. By October they'll realise, that's for sure.

Im confident that Moshiri will be a great influence on this club, but at the moment, nothing has changed except apparently the way we are trying to do business.

Im not saying don't hope, do, I certainly am, just that if Moshiri is succesful it will take time, not just an overnight thing for people to change how they see Everton.

What I was saying weeks ago about signing a replacement for him. Make him earn his place and have someone to drop him if he loses form.
