Yep he must have been scouting the Italian league a lot as Italy manager and one of the first thing's he's done is to try and replace Terry with Koulibaly.

Plus judging from Italy's performance in the Euros he knows what makes a good defender.

it's basically what we are banking on when trying to get the better players this window really, so like you say, we can't really complain if players we want go there (instead of here) just for the money. I'd love to hear the pitch they are giving at the moment about the "everton project", from what others have said it does sound like exciting times ahead.
