He has had no "real" power since Moshiri got here. He is a figurehead.
Not so sure on that.

If he loved the club as you say he would surely do the best thing for it?
Like selling it to the Man City owner when he came calling...
Not so sure on that.
You honestly think Allardyce was a Kenwright signing? No chance.
Dave Hickson haircut? 60's kit.Ha, I'm imagining him like John Terry in his full kit ha
My understanding is that he was overruled by Moshiri when the owner chose Sham and Billy boy wanted F A to do with him. From that date thlngs between the two have gone down hill. With Elstone off to play rugby league the Moshiri take over will be complete. I would think that our once steady but unspectacular ship may be heading for very stormy waters with the fans being pushed more and more into the back ground once all top positions are occupied by total sycophants.
Oh no, I know he wasn't.
But that's not everything is it?
No it's not but its obvious Moshiri is calling the shots that matter.
Wow pushed more into the background than they have been by the guy who scrapped agms, yeah bill always respected the fans, utterly.
As for sycophants, missed the days of bill in charge with not a hint of a sycophant around the club....
I don't think he's calling all of them. And Kenwright is getting his head in and affecting things that Moshiri could do without.
Some of this ‘careful what you wish for’ nostalgia over Kenwright and Elstone is hilarious. Since Moshiri has arrived he’s resurrected plans for what would be our dream stadium, cleared the debt, and pumped in record transfer fees. Yes he’s made wrong appointments in terms of managers and DOFs but apart from Moyes you could argue every appointment since Royle has been the wrong one. Now it looks like he wants to change it again and people are saying careful what you wish for ha the mind truly does boggle.
Kenwright was head of the transfer committee remember, so all transfer business/failings fell at his feet.
Well no idea the truth in any of them mate, but going back 2 years i remember hearing from friends we were in for the likes of Berhimi/Mata/Witsel/Yarmalenko again / KoulibabyWhat failings though? Who have we not signed after going for them? (obviously there will be some we are not aware of).
