Kenwright leaving rumour

My understanding is that he was overruled by Moshiri when the owner chose Sham and Billy boy wanted F A to do with him. From that date thlngs between the two have gone down hill. With Elstone off to play rugby league the Moshiri take over will be complete. I would think that our once steady but unspectacular ship may be heading for very stormy waters with the fans being pushed more and more into the back ground once all top positions are occupied by total sycophants.

Wow pushed more into the background than they have been by the guy who scrapped agms, yeah bill always respected the fans, utterly.

As for sycophants, missed the days of bill in charge with not a hint of a sycophant around the club....

Some of this ‘careful what you wish for’ nostalgia over Kenwright and Elstone is hilarious. Since Moshiri has arrived he’s resurrected plans for what would be our dream stadium, cleared the debt, and pumped in record transfer fees. Yes he’s made wrong appointments in terms of managers and DOFs but apart from Moyes you could argue every appointment since Royle has been the wrong one. Now it looks like he wants to change it again and people are saying careful what you wish for ha the mind truly does boggle.

I haven't mentioned anything about BK sycophants because in the terms of this thread its hardly relevant. What some of you are ignoring is the history of wealthy Prem owners who either get bored with their toy or find themselves in trouble in the countries of their origin due to financial irregularities. At present our government is 'at war' with Russia which is the country of origin of Moshiris fortune, stringent new rules are on the way to test the source of the wealth of these billionaires, the press suggesting such crooked matters as money laundering. I would think our guy is far too straight to be caught up in anything like that but the toxic atmosphere being created must create doubt about our clubs long term security. With oringnal board members jumping ship together, Kenwright and Elstone, such moves will only serve to raise suspicions at Company House.

The Jim White propaganda machine is pretty bizarre too.

Nobody knows until it happens do they really?

Personally I prefer a fan in charge than some random accountant but football has been pretty dead for me for a while. It's just how the modern game is.

Sad part is I reckon no matter who is in charge, who we sign, who our manager is and all the other things that we have discussions about the end result will always be the same, finishing somewhere between 5th and 10th.

Football is boring.

What failings though? Who have we not signed after going for them? (obviously there will be some we are not aware of).
Well no idea the truth in any of them mate, but going back 2 years i remember hearing from friends we were in for the likes of Berhimi/Mata/Witsel/Yarmalenko again / Koulibaby

then last summer we had the 45 million sigg, plus the random scattergun transfer approach. All went through him, so he signed them all off, even if he wasn't the one officially negotiating or identifying players
