Wigan got a few big big south americans stars on the promise of regular football and a chance to be in the shop window for bigger clubs. It does happen.

I think this is probably the way we get him if it happens. A contract that'll include a release clause for a certain amount or specified other club interest. We do have a good record as a stepping stone club. If I was him I'd swerve CL clubs for the moment.

Of course it does, Alls I am saying is if Arsenal decide to put a serious offer in for Kev 99% of the time he will pick them for obvious reasons

Actually kind of depends even still.

Not saying he wouldn't be more likely to go Arsenal or Bayern. On the rare occasion though, we would be offering pretty much guaranteed first team football and a friend of his to play with (Fellaini) while still giving him the opportunity to play in the Premier League. Possibly with less pressure than at those clubs.
Depends on a players mindset. But I like to think we have a pull for players like him, we are a step up from the greek league.
''OK Kevin, you can go out and play with your friend, but don't go into Stanley Park''.

Davek is spot on in this thread so far.

Would be wonderful if it happened but it just seems incredibly unlikely.

Ok, lets say he signs!

2 strikers ???? David Moyes ???

He's not a Jelavic type of striker. He's versatile and could feasibly play anywhere in attack, potentially RW as he's quite skilful and I believe he's reasonably quick. Or LW cutting in as he's right footed.

why always the assumption that if a fellow countryman plays for us that they're bezzies? i'm sure jonny thought royston was a tit, so why assume felli and him are up to the chuffs in each other?

Nice. Moyes like's a versatile player, very handy to have.

I just do not want to get excited till I see it on that Yellow thing on SSN.

I'd assume something along the lines of Naimsith, Pienaar and Mirallas swapping position behind Jelavic. Moyes has done that sort of thing before when he's had the players available.
