Kevin Mirallas

I'll be gutted if he leaves us, got a horrible feeling he's going to. Should have tied him up in a new contract same time as Baines, Martinez, Stones and Coleman all got done.
I would probably suggest that a contract extension would have little consequence on him staying or not, merely just adding to his transfer value.

If Mirallas isn't happy, then I would be more inclined to believe it is due to our league position and success (or lack of) in cup competitions.

If our fortunes improve, namely with the help of the Europa League, then he'll be more inclined to stay: oh and ask for more money.

On the other hand, if our fortunes do not improve then he may ask to move on come the Summer.

Until then, we are simply speculating why the talks may have stalled, when it may simply be that Kevin is unsure himself.

I'd prefer that he stayed as he offers us pace and explosive skills which will be hard to replace. Yet, I think we'll get a pretty penny if he does go.

Would be a difficult player to replace.
Not itk but would be surprised if we didn't try to get him tied up in the summer. But it is rare for players to sign up before a World Cup - a good performance can radically change your value - and then afterwards he was on holiday for a month.
He also has a long stated preference for playing both in Spain and in the Champions League, we certainly can't give him the first and this season it looks unlikely to be the second either unless we win the Europa.

He is at the peak of his career age wise and although he seems happy at Everton, both on and off the field, personally can't blame him for keeping his options open as long as he performs his best whilst wearing our shirt.

Mirallas will go to Arsenal, or Tootenham.. Id be pissed if he joined Spurs though.

I'd think the club were doing everything they could to tie him up last summer but everything pointing towards him leaving (unless we get CL through europa) would be gutted to lose him, cracking player.
