No one man bigger than the club eh lads? Even if on his day, he is one of our best.
But IF the smoke does indeed have fire, then see ya mate.

The footage clearly shows Rom, Naismith and Baines all trying to 'help' him and he ignored them all.

Well in Kev.

It was an extremely poor decision, probably driven by high emotions and wanting to continue his good form from the FA cup tie.

It was clearly not something which was arranged in training. He put pressure on himself by taking it from Baines, and would have put pressure on Baines if He or Jagielka took the ball back off him. Play for the bloody team.

He "stepped up"?

Stepped up to do what?

He had no business "stepping up" when our regular penalty taker was prepared to take the kick himself.
Pal I agree with read my posts, I've not defended him and I won't defend, I was fuming at him and wouldn't surprise me if he uses as a way to force a move from the club

I thought he went a touch over the top. Didn't he get dead mad and said it was worse than breaking someone's leg?

C'mon gaznev.

Yeah too be fair that bit was over the top.

Agree that it's worse than getting sent off, making a mistake, losing a goal extra though cause he's gone against the team and ignored three players and missed it and in the end probably cost us the game, not on.

neville was over the top last night, no two ways about it.

i like the guy as a pundit, but his rant last night was almost as retarded as carraghers rants about players taking photo of themselves after they win big matches.

I must admit, I have always viewed him in somewhat blue tinted spectacles. But he is a bit of a muppet isn't he?
