Like I said yesterday Mirallas is only getting such an easy ride about this because he's one of our better players. I'd get rid now if I was Martinez. Jagielka also needs to be removed as captain, don't blame Baines because it'd be putting pressure on himself to score if he makes a big deal about taking it. It wouldn't have been as bad if we'd have been 1-0 up or in a better league position, but it's incidents like this that make me worry about how much some of the players care as it's clear that Mirallas puts himself light years ahead of the club, players and any of the fans. 2 and 1/2 years of good work ruined as far as I'm concerned.

Exactly.

So Baines has a go at Mirallas. Big bust up on the pitch. More pressure on Baines. Baines may miss it. Mirallas spits his dummy out anyway.

It is not what we want in the form we're in. They should be together trying to get out of the dump. It's best he didn't confront him. Mirallas should've known better.

Not sure that I want him out over this but I have just watched the clip for the first time. Blooming heck Kev what were you thinking of. It is a long time since I have seen team mates so angry with a guy who was clearly turning the one lucky break we have had in ages into a stupid public dispute. You can't just ignore your team mates like that in public. Bet training was fun today!!!

Martinez has lost his authority basically. It looks like the players have no respect for him. Players asking can they play more direct suggest that they are fed up with his style and want to play a more effective style of football. The squad is the best we have had in ages and are underperforming and are rewarded with a `warm weather` trip! High time ferguson kicked some ass and turned this round, Martinez appears to be a dead man walking

Apart from last comment I'm in total agreement. Reason Mirallas didn't go in changing rooms at HT was due to Big Dunc walling him up down the tunnel !!!

To be fair, Lukaku, Baines, Naismith did all they could there without grabbing the ball off him and starting something. They ask him, then tell him. He doesn't listen.

The only one who doesn't say anything is Jags...who's was thinking of booking a holiday at the time.

Baines seemed to be okay with it. Was mostly Naismith and Lukaku.

And as they said on MNF, Jagielka probably knew nothing about it, assuming everything was fine and normal... Not his fault at all...

Don't think he was but short of having a blazing row with him right there on the pitch - which would help neither of them in pre-penalty preperation - there was not much he could do.

Just hope he scores it and then threaten to castrate him in the changing rooms if he ever even thinks of pulling a stunt like that again.

Fair enough, I'm sure he was seething inside.. I'm just talking about the clip of him and Kev having a chat and Baines looking quite understanding.

Ultimately, Mirallas was just a massive tit!

Mirallas, absolute tit and I'm not surprised he hasn't come out and said hold his hand up and admit he was a tit. The most farcical part was Naismith and Martinez trying to say he was injured which is why he went off. Naismith "he didn't come in the dressing room" Martinez "when he was sitting down and his body temp changed he felt his hamstring".

The players have took the piss out of Martinez most of the season. Martinez has took the piss out of himself by persisting with the same players who persist in taking the piss out of him. It really has been one big piss take of a season hasn't it.
