Kev is the same as many other players, play well - say they deserve a bigger club, play poor we stick by them, then they decide to jump ship when the going gets tough.

Why dont players focus on improving for the current club and earn their move ala Gareth Bale or Ronaldo, the only solution i can think of is if they really want to play champions league, they should play for less than they are on now. I bet most would stop spouting the champions league excuse soon enough.

tbf, a footballer's career is pretty short, i can sort of see why they try and fast track things, even though i don't really agree with it - it's down to money, but also ambition. i think players rather be a bit part player winning a league title than playing all the time, just qualifying for CL etc.

Maybe I am looking too critically at Mirallas now , maybe he isn't doing anything now that he wasn't doing before but he does seem to be playing selfishly rather than putting the team first.
It may be that he regards himself as a finisher rather than a creator of goals. As with any other striker he wants to build his goal tally. But there have been more than a couple of instances recently where he has gone on his own and tried to score rather than setting up a player in a possibly better position.
I think he is gone. I think he thinks he is gone. It may well be (knowing agents and how they work) that he already knows where he will be playing his football next season.

I think the CL is overatred in many cases. Obvs not for the best players like hazard etc that are at teams like chelsea who could win it whilst playing an important role in the team....

But for players like mirallas, who to get it are gonna have to either play for a team who last a matter of weeks in the comp, getting beaten every game or be a squad player at a better team and spend most the year getting splinters (Pienaar)

I mean, if it means that much go play for Celtic!!
