No celebration when Rom scored his second, just turned away
I'm really not sure it's worth the big deal mate.
He just looked down and gave a little fist pump.
Too much made of it for me.

This. He had three or four good chances, buried one of them, and carried out a lot of good approach / build-up play. Good day at the office for Kev.Do you think he was smarting because the penalty was not given to him?
Must say though not a bad game tonight.
Considering Lennon and Atsu may well not be here in June, Pienaar is inexorably gong to decline (can we sell him to Moyes?) and McGeady's biggest potential use is as a makeweight in a deal for Van Dijk, I'd rather keep our pacy, goalscoring, snidey international winger thanks. Not saying much is it

It's RM's job to change Kev's mind IF the rumours that he wants to leave are true. If we end up having to sell him to avoid losing him on a free then ok, but make sure it's overseas and for big money. And bring someone decent in BEFOREHAND.But if he wants to leave youd keep him?
A new contract for Kevin Mirallas is not an area of concern for Roberto Martinez who insists he remains relaxed over the player’s future at Everton.
The Belgian international has spoken of his ambition to play Champions League football again and supposedly being ready for a “fresh challenge” but his manager is in no rush to thrash out a new deal.
Martinez said: “Kevin has got a long term contract. He’s got this season and then another two years.
“At the moment he’s performing well. I thought against Young Boys at Goodison he was back to his best.
That’s the only thing I’m concerned about. Can we see Kevin enjoying his football in every game that he goes into.
“We’ve got good competition for places now and Kevin is not a player who is out of contract in the summer.”
He added: “Talks are not ongoing at the moment. We’re going to leave every individual situation until further down the line.
“Now is an important moment to try and focus on the team and see if we can get a winning mentality into the league and forget about distractions.
“I do feel that talking about individual situations can be distracting at this point. We’ll leave it until further down the line.
“We’ll look at the players who are out of contract first and foremost because they’re more urgent but players like Kevin who has two-and-a-half years left on his contract is not something we need to consider yet.”
