in regards to the whole injury prone thing iirc Mirallas has played the same number of games as Baines since Martinez's arrival.

Isn't that a bit of an apple and oranges comparison though as a defender will rarely play unless a manager thinks he can last the full game whilst not uncommon to bring a striker/winger on for a few minutes to build up match fitness whilst they are coming back from injury.

For instance against Swansea Mirallas came on for 5 mins at the end whilst Baines played the full game but both will register one appearance each.
