FFS! you just know that fat one is our new playmaker signing don't you.

FFS everton

Mirallas is great don't know what's happened this season. He seems to be benched a lot for inferior players even in big games and when he does start he's always subbed. If he had a strop so Martinez punished him then fine, if not though it's gross mismanagement of one of our best players. He needs to be starting every game up front not getting 20 minute cameos on the wing replacing Naismith Barkley Etoo Mcgeady Atsu or whatever other clown has been picked ahead of him.

It may be a message from the manager that we don't rely on him as much as maybe Mirallas thinks we do.
Sign or leave. That may be the message, but if you run down your contracr your profile is going to drop during the remainder of your Everton spell.
We have done quite well without him and maybe he is not that big an influence in our team.

Its because he can't handle 90 minutes thanks to his paper hamstrings. Either he has to start and be subbed off at 60 minutes or come on as an impact sub, where he almost always makes a big impression on the game.

He's been injured quite a lot this season.

First the hamstring that went in the Anfield game

Then the ankle injury

Then a dead leg that was worse than expected and which also kept him out of Belgium international games

Even last year, especially from March, he wasn't starting every game - he'd play two in a row with one for the full game and the next being subbed at ~60 mins and then he was benched for the next one. Even with that resting he missed the last few games with a groin injury.

His body just doesn't seem able to cope with playing the full 90 minutes week in week out.

Problem is it's hard to tell when he's being benched for fitness reasons, and benched for tactical ones. There have been many times this season where he's been back from injury for a while and just had a serious of cameos, or the odd start, looked fit, but then been benched again.

I'll give Bobby the benefit of the doubt but we've seen many times this season that he's chosen to only go with 1 of 2, 3 or 4 winger options at a time.

typical injuries that speed merchants suffer. so tough to keep these flying machines fit, that's why we need to buy lennon, he is so quick but has a pretty good injury record ,plus he's a tidy player as well.
