Bad attitude is one thing but statistics another - this is the statistical order of merit:
Here are the statistics since 2012/13 season :
Order : minutes played , goals scored, assists, goals per minute played and goals and assists per minute played -
1)Mirallas 5912 min, 24 goals ,13 assists, 246 min/goal , 159 min/ goal and assist
2)Kone ; 4836 min , 17 goals ,10 assists, 284 min/goal , 179 min/goal and assist
3)Deulefeu: 1945 min, 5goals,12 assists , 389 min/goal , 114 min/ goal and assist
4)Barkley: 6294 min ,14 goals,15 assists, 449 min/goal , 217 min/ goal and assist
5)Osman: 6725 min ,10 goals ,11 assists, 672 min/goal , 320 min/goal and assist
6)Pienaar: 5016 min , 7 goals ,13 assists, 716 min/goal , 250 min/goal and assist
7)Cleverly: 6442 min , 7goals , 4 assists, 920 min/goal , 585 min/goal and assist

I rest my case why our nr 1 ranked player should not only have played 337 min this season

This doesn't make sense does it?

Spat coke all over my screen when I saw he had Kone on 17 goals.

Kone has scored 16 Premiership goals in 70 games for Wigan and us.

If you read my post carefully you will notice i never said all those minutes were played for Everton - just "since 2012/13 season"
If you knew your football facts well you would have realized i have included Kone's last season at Wigan and Cleverly's last 3 seasons at MUnited to make it more comparable for minutes played in PL -
If those statistics don't make sense you probably think like mr Martinez - and you clearly will never see why Mirallas has been receiving a raw deal this season -
rather look for players with great attitude and body laguage like Osman and Naisnmith then and ignore the better talent right under your noses -
Mirallas has played less minutes for Everton than Barkley but he has scored 10 more goals and 2 less assists - the one is a wonderkid and the other a bench warmer -
not in my books guys - give Mirallas a break for Everton's sake

I want Mirallas to start every game and Kone to retire mate.

The marriage of instrumental reason and statistics is a match made in hell. People get far too concerned with analyzing numbers without looking with perspective or context.

then i suppose attitude and body language is much more scientific then ?
Is statistics of any use in the" perspective and context " world or what variables do you use in that world to measure and compare ?
or is everything just personal opinion ? and numbers just coincidence ?

I think both a statistical metric and personal experience of the manager (as he's with them all the time) is much more effective than simply looking for stats and only the stats. Until we can measure the spin and velocity of all atoms looking only at "cold hard numbers" is a useless predictor at things as dynamic as a team sport.

In the bin

Does anyone honestly give a flying f about statistics, use your bloody eyes as we all watch these every game, that should tell you a lot more than a million hours spent on OPTA, SQUAWK and whatever other bs new fad sites try to make you feel pro about footy

Howard, Kone, Osman, Naismith are all not good enough and Mirallas is a moody lazy sod who on his day can be brilliant

exactly - my point - i am using statistics to try and make sense of "the personal experience of the manager" - the last being as immeasurable and unscientific as you can possibly get -
if a thousand compasses indicate for a thousand days that the sun rises in the east it does not matter what your personal experience or anybody else's for that matter might be - i think we can accept that the sun rises in the east -
if one winger scores almost double the number of goals and assists in less time than another winger to me the choice is easy - very easy -
the personal experience of the manager being upset with the player personally should be very clear if he benches him endlessly

That's complete nonsense. The direction of the sun's rise is a much different subject to a player's performance in a team and using it as an example of why only stats should be looked at is simply strange. Can you not see where there are far too many incalculable variables in the scenario Mirallas finds himself in to make it such a linear argument?

So Deulofeu's goals and assists that have helped get us to a league cup semifinal don't count - or Kev's cup performances last season for that matter?!!

Deja vu from last years Lukaku thread "he's only scored x in the league"

RVP scored 26 league goals in 2012/13 and a further 12 the following year - his stats would look amazing!

I like Kone and Howard isn't as bad is made out. Osman is a worthy squad member.
Naismith is a decent player that doesn't suit a possession based side like ours.
