He really seems determined to put his foot in it at every opportunity. Not a clever interview,if reported properly.

All he had to say was that he was delighted to be back in the team, thought he did well and was determined to put pressure on the manager to play him every week by playing to his best. The usual routine then about the team being most important and the great spirit in the camp etc. etc.

The rest is implied.

He really seems to have a very high opinon of himself . He should remember the lack of interest in his services during the summer from any of the better teams.

"It's been said that I wanted to leave, I would have a bad attitude, but everyone has seen here that I've given everything," he is reported to have said.

"The important thing for me is that I have shown that I respect the club and this shirt regardless of my future.

"Today I have proven that I am a footballer who deserves to play, or at least one who should get more playing time. We'll see. I'll go and sit together with the coach to talk about my future."

Pathetic reaction from the same posters as the faux outrage last time he gave an interview.

Look at the actual quotes and he's spot on.

Just because he had a good game on saturday and the detractors desperately need something negative about him to latch on to

No I in team. He needs to work to gain his managers selection perhaps that goal Saturday builds the foundation again. I didn't care for the article above either I just hope that was said in haste due to a adrenaline rush.
