Kevin Mirallas

Don't you remember? I wanted to stab him in the neck.

Just looked it up. It was Burnley, might have been forgotten as we ended up winning but Baines was on the field and Ross took a pen after 10 mins and missed

After Mirallas case Martinez said it puplicly that Mirallas basically highjacked the peno...i dont remember that that would have been said after Ross peno (?) Anyways....if it happend then it should have been even clearer thing to Mirallas to understand that you just cant do that. Anyways....my bigger beef with belgian fanny is that he whines puplicly about his concerns.

Fine line between confidence and arrogance. Many of the top players have a bit of swagger. If Kevin is ever going to do it consistently he will need that self belief. On his day he's a major talent, not easily replaced.

Some great quotes by Mirrrallas in here saying how much he wants to play and should play more. Even refrains from mentioning Osman and Kone specifically as being crap which would have been justified.

I like this line the best.

"I just want to play football and score goals to help the team win, most games we need to score at least 5 cos the overplayed starfish in goal is worth a standard 3 goals to the oppo".

Gotta love Kevin.

Suarez had real bad attitude - but the moment he left Liverpool they became a mediocre team -
Costa has equally bad attitude - the moment he stopped wanting to play for Mourino Chelsea became a bottom half team -
Mirallas does not come close to those 2 as far as bad attitude is concerned , but since Martinez decided for whatever reason he is not good enough for an Everton start we have been languishing in the bottom half of the table -
great talent with bad attitude requires exceptional management not punishment -
Mirallas did nothing wrong on Saturday - give credit when credit is due - he has scored 25 goals for us since 2012/13 -many more than anyone picked ahead of him -
Martinez has very few excuses to bench him from now on

His goal was beautiful, but that turn on (Mikel I think) was superb. He was unlucky not to finish that one off; I think he should be our second striker whenever Lukaku or Barkley need a break. He is quick, crafty, can finish with both feet and a is good finisher (ntm free kick taker). If he can maintain this form he should continue to start from the left, and every now and again take a peek in the middle. There are some games where we need a player that can do the business in isolation (and he is probably our best bet in those situations). On his day he is unstoppable.

He doesn't come close to them as far as quality is concerned, that's for sure. We should never be held to ransom by this narcissist. He needs to play and get his head down when called in and then belt up until he's deemed to be of use again.

He cant do that though. He's a diva and players like him are poison in a squad.

I hope he keeps the form up for the next few games, then I hope we're smart enough to sell him before he goes into his inevitable sulk and does sod all for another six months.

If we play our cards right, we can mug a club off for £10m.
