Some weird interpretations of what is a very positive article. He's saying that seeing the club trying to keep it's best players made him want to stay, it took Everton longer than promised to get his contract on the table, he and his family were happy for him to stay.

Not doubting his love for the club, but I think he has a very high opinion of himself which can come across as arrogant or selfish at times. The peno incident from last year for instance. Bobby is very much about the team.
