Tree,2 assists against Villa does not a season make, I am not hyperventilating nor do I hate any of the Everton staff. Don't bother tempting any new player before getting rid of Super? Kev he has embarrassed himself and the club enough and we wiill be lucky if any other Prem. club wishes to giive us a half decent fee for him.
No, two assists does not make a season - I agree with you. But how many opportunities has he had this season? As I have pointed out before, he is statistically more productive in terms of goals and assists than almost every the player in the squad, if you factor in his playing time. Over the last four years for instance, Baines has had over 3000 more minutes on the field and has one more assist than Mirallas.

And my point was not "Don't bother tempting any new player before getting rid of Mirallas" - it was the opposite. By all means ship him out if we can bring in someone better - Yarmolenko, for instance. But don't just get rid of him for the sake of petulance, and leave us with Cleverly, Kone or Pienaar on the left: two of whom are finished and the other is a surprisingly good free transfer, but not a star by any means. And don't sell him to a Prem side FFS, he is a proven goalscorer in the Prem and that would be a transfer that would come back and bite us.

Last game he ever played for Everton was last week. It'd take an injury and viral crisis to hit FF for that divvy to ever pull a blue jersey on again.

Petulance breeds petulance,at the sake of repeating myself here I think Mirallas simply as a player WAS a worthy asset but he has lost his way mentally e.g. diving at every opportunity and making rash tackles (Saturday was not a one off) We can't get rid until the season has finished by which time with the new money in hand we will have new players to replace him whether it is Yarmolenko or anyone else.I admire the fact that you are defending a player whom you obviously like but all in all until he is prepared to sort himself out we are better off without him than with him.

Agree on the whole mate.

Kev has given us some great moments and, seeing some goals we scored in our first season under RM he was terrific. But he nearly always played out on the right and even now I prefer him there than on the left.

Do feel he's going to be sold though but like you said as long as it's abroad and we get a better player in to replace him who can be a consistent (something Kev has ultimately failed to be) first-team starter then that's fine with me.

Only other PL team I could actually see him going to/going for him at this point would be West Ham tbh.

If not I see him going abroad. Hopefully he stays in Europe and doesn't go money-grabbing in China or the middle East.
