Thing about a role like this is not only the competence in doing the job but about your contacts / net work. At Wolves, KT was respected as he worked to bring in some unknown quantity players while Mendes brought in the bigger names. He was then head hunted and took the Red Bulls job. We can only speculate why his stay wasn't that long there but I don't see KT's role being any different to the one he had at Wolves. He certainly won't be dealing with any big name transfers but maybe he can excel with lower division or promising talent and bring in the odd gem.
