Belotti and Denayer, Grillisitch, Zagadou, Suarez, Isco and Diego Costa and tell Gordon to just run around for them. DoF is easy, or you just get sacked and paid out and the club can sort it out!

Easy to blame the club
It's hardly Kevs fault how the clubs been run for the last 6 years and the fact we have zero money to spend is it. Nor is it lampards. Its the owner and the board who have overseen that.

So yes, it's easy and correct to blame the club.

Is he? Because so far all I've seen are links to overpriced PL players we can't afford.

I would not be applauding him for spending £17m on Cornet and a future £20m on Winks. You'd have to sniff pritt sticks to think that.
Yeah but how many of the links are actually genuine mate?

Only three with any kind of substance really was Cornet : where he offered a delayed payment and one year loan so zero cost this summer in essence - smart offer in reality (I don't want him but thsts neither here nor there).

Winks who we walked on a loan as they insisted on an obligation - again smart to walk away.

And MGW who we offered what was being roughly quotes as there asking price and they raised the price 5m over those runoured 'available price' - again wolves don't seem to want to sell although all suggestions where they would.

If you ignore the weird 'historical' player links of the same guys we get linked with every season.

Then four profile of players seems to be reoccurring - a no 6 who can receive from the defence with good distribution, a number 8 with goals in them, a versatile wide/central player again with goals in them and a left sided cb and a defensive mid with 'physical presence'.

I think there is a proper worked out plan to fix the positions we need most, the fact it's taking time - well yup we are broke and having to try to do unusual structure on deals

They're as genuine as you want them to be realistically. I choose to believe which I think have substance or not, based on our past dealings, and so far extremely unimpressive outside of the original KLP interest whom we seemingly could have gotten for less than the price of Cornet. However you have still given me your 3 substance links, to PL/ex-PL players, who are all WAY too expensive for what they are.

We need a number 6, haven't had any proper links.
We need a proper right-winger, again no proper links to an actual right winger.
We need a backup striker, fake links to a player we definitely can't afford (Broja).

You say there's a worked out plan but how do Winks (not a 6), Cornet (a left winger) and MGW (an attacking mid we don't even use) show evidence of that?

Winks is effectively a 6 in the system Lampard favours mate, Cornet can cover for lb/lwb where we have none, play left wing so in essence could be seen as a direct Richy replacement, and can play at cf - providing DCL cover

MGW best position is seen as either a number 8 or playing coming in off the right side am

Why do we need a direct Richy replacement when 2 of our 3 wingers play in his position and the 1 that doesn't is injured till next year???

Think you've hit desperation levels of spoon-bending here, Stevon.
