Surely Lampard must be increasingly frustrated. After a slow start, 2 weeks ago it looked like we’d done some good business in improving our defence and adding Onana to our lightweight midfield, seemingly with Gueye about to sign.
Now we’re in a position where the Gueye transfer is rumbling on, so we’re still short of quality in midfield and are going into our third game of the season without reinforcements in attack. The worry now is we are getting so desperate we just resort to signing anyone willing to sign/club willing to our penny pinching loan or structured payment offers.
It’s ok though, because we had a strategic review and that’s lead to significant changes that will see us right…

Well he is the DOF after all. Who else’s fault is it? Lampard, Moshiri, Kenwright. Look I’m happy he’s got Tarks, Coady and Onana in, but let’s not kid ourselves he’s made a massive mistake not replacing Richarlison already.

We have obviously not learned the lesson after flogging Lukkaku, so we do have form for this.

Would like to think though that we will have a decent squad by the end of the window, just a bit worried all this will affect morale in an already fragile dressing room.
