He’s put Lampard under unbelievable pressure here. Especially in the highly likely event we can’t score against Forest.
It's not him though is it, he just identifies the targets then has to report to this special 'technical board' that has been setup which is Kenwright and DBB and they deal with the negotiations. Id be hoping he is banging on their doors asking WTF is going on tbh.

Fair point. Collectively it’s a mess.

Well we seemed to have tried last summer for the then manager to veto the deal disappointing
Very disappointing and slow however we’ve got onana who could be good and is exciting but we’re also plugging holes which is much needed to steady us for now but moving forward we need to be bringing players through like Gordon and also recruiting more like onana Patterson myko so we can see progress just painstakingly slow IE a forward, obviously we didn’t know DCL was going to get injured but was always a good possibility I’d of liked to of seen what Simms could of done in first few games he’d of been right up for it.

Striker, forward, a goal scorer, someone who scores goals.

Someone upfront, a target man, not a winger, not a midfield player, not a goalie, not a defender.

Excitement, goals, a 'danger man'.

If it goes tits up tomorrow I wouldn't want to be sitting in his seat. This board and everyone involved with the running of the club should be getting it both barrels before, half time and after the match

To go 7 weeks without a Richarlison replacement is unacceptable and wouldn't happen at any other established top flight club. I think the whole summer has been utterly shambolic and we are now left as prime relegation contenders

It is poor but there is a load of hyperbole being thrown around here by lots of people.

Not really sure on that. Why should we not hold the club to the same standards that any other established top flight side would be held?

This wouldn't happen at any other comparable club. To go into the opening game with no replacement is poor. To go into game 3 is very poor. To go almost 8 weeks is almost hard to believe.
