More i think will. Good argument to say it cost us 3 points on saturday. I can see a few more of them coming. Nobody up front. Not even a presence. In a way it will be the most fitting end that the shambles over a few years will finally catch up with us. The last transfer window will hang around this clubs neck though.. When it does happen, and ive resigned myself to thinking it because we cant score, i dont think i can take looking at Thelwell next season in the Championship. It goes deeper but i wont forget being the only club in the premier league to not add to the squad, on his watch as DOF.
Dont want to see his face hanging around next season in the championship.

Or lets say Sunderland owner a player called Simms, he had scoed a few goals for him, good prospect, and Everton buy him, would you say he has done his job because he bought Simms?
We have those players now but if we had gone out and bought another player it would of been players like this, or a Tosun at best, no upgrades, nothing more then a punt and more lost money

I suppose if Maupay was at Brighton I would still think the same as I did when we actually did sign him from Brighton...why on earth have we bought him, he really isn't what we need.

If, however, he had not signed either Maupay or McNeill, he would have had some cash to go out and get a solid target man type centre forward who would get us 10 goals a season. Not a massive amount of goals, but, enough to make him our leading scorer by a long way and we could have got such a player, either on loan or permanently for a reasonable amount. It may well have proved to have been the difference between us playing premier league or the championship next season.
