….he’s clearly just had a staff meeting and came out of it offering Tom Davies a new deal. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has no idea on Davies ability as a footballer.
Already, the signs aren’t good for this window or our chances next season.

Sure, but as we all know, realistically transfers are negotiated behind the scenes pretty much all year round: clubs sounding out players, agents sounding out clubs etc. The 'official open dates' of the window is really just a formality for the end stages of possible pre-agreed transfers.
Still, no need to be losing heads over lack of transfer business with two months to go before the new season starts.

For me If no goals are added by pre season start then he should be sacked...let alone by the end of the window. We cannot afford to start the season in August with no option in attack other than maupay. There is no excuse and they shouldn't be around to wait for deadline day.

I suspect strongly that we won’t have signed anyone by August and people on here will be saying it’s because the Serbian transfer window isn’t open.
