Everton require 4 more points to secure premiership status. I.e., 30 points with decent goal difference. All of the “opinions” here regarding Thelwell are IMO mood point depending on what comes next. We need 4 more wins and a couple of draws this season and all is good and forgiven even for those who are not a bit happy right now .. Also accept no point signing bad players and overpriced players just to make up the numbers . The other scenario is a couple of injuries and bad performances and we will be back to the moaning “how did we allow this to happen” situation which nobody wants to.. For me it boils down to this … Have we done enough to guarantee premiership football ? If you think answer is Yes then all is good provided we get whats needed .. if your not sure then answer is no and Thelwell and his recruitment team have failed .. The 3 wins Moyes has achieved for me should be enough but i think we have taken a big gamble here…!
Tbf West Ham have binned off that DoF as soon as they they got Potter in. Almost like both things could be true - Moyes doesn’t mind working with one, provided they’re decent.100% mate...Moyes has said he doesn't mind working under a DOF which personally I don't buy especially given he was butting heads with the geezer at West Ham.
He'll want complete control over who's coming in and out the door which means Thelwell is redundant.
You probably find he's currently looking up his contacts in the game for potential future employment.
12 more to be confident and yes shouldnt be a problem !Everton require 4 more points to secure premiership status. I.e., 30 points with decent goal difference.
We have a very promising U18’s side at the minute. They’re playing tonight if you fancy bothering your arse to find out.
