As tight as the finances have been, we've still had money to spend and overwhelmingly it's been done badly. He should be leaving with Dyche. Just wish he could take most of the players with him.
Don't we all at Everton?Let’s not forget his insane obsession with Che Adams. He LOVES attackers who don’t score.
…..he seems very popular on here, Matey, although I’m finally seeing a few posts blaming him as well as Dyche. Hopefully the penny is dropping with fans and the new owners go for a clean sweep.
Nah.. Even the phantom zone can only handle so much anti-football in itAnd Woany. Everybody forgets Woany, but let's not this time...
Aren't you just bitter towards him because he took your mates job and has done a far better job?
“Eggs” thinks your post is funny. Of course he does. He expects the director of football to wave his magic wand and sign up a squad full of quality players on frees, loans, and zero down payments. It’s very easy don’t you know?Go and assemble a competitive team…
“Great, what have I got to do it with”
You’ll have to sell anything not nailed down and you can only spend 1/3 of it.
Honestly who do you expect him to sign? With a out of date half packet of consumed fruit pastels and a ripped £5 note…
He’s not blameless, no one is, but he is not the root and there’s mitigation for his performance.
Dyche needs removing asap he's an absolute bin fire, never an Everton manager, shows how far out of touch the decision makers at the club are to have employed him in the first place.
He won’t manage again, his ego won’t allow him to take a job in league 2, and no one in the division above would touch him unless they’d had a frontal lobotomy..
You can’t take him seriously. He’s very much in the it’s the DOFs fault and Dyche is marvellous camp.“Eggs” thinks your post is funny. Of course he does. Baffling point of view. You, along with a few others, expect miracles it seems. You’re completely ignoring the fact that he’s literally had less resources to work with than ANY other club in the division. In fact, he’s had to make a profit and you think being at the wrong end of the table is on him? It isn’t even PARTLY on him ffs. His job has been impossible. He’s done a very good job in getting high earners off the books (something his predecessor failed to do) whilst also having to scour the globe looking for any player that might help the squad who either didn’t cost anything, or their club would accept zero down payment for. You honestly think if he had a half decent budget he’d have moved heaven and earth to sign Beto? Udinese literally deferred any payment for 12 months! DCL at the time was having huge injury issues and we badly needed a striker. I expect there was very little choice. I find it bizarre that anyone can point the finger in his direction with a straight face.So to clarify the last DoF signed all the players himself and failed due to incompetence and only came out blaming the board later on to save face. Whereas with this one we pick and choose which players he signed and the bad ones were all signed by Moshiri and the evil restless spirit of Bill Kenwright and he’s totally nailed to the wall by the board except when a good player is signed.
And the whole dodging relegation the entire time he’s been DoF is just ignored. Got it
Nice to have you on the forum Kev, can you maybe stop the team trying to relegate themselves?Baffling point of view. You, along with a few others, expect miracles it seems. People are criticising the signing of Jake o Brien. But he was another who actually cost buttons initially. At the time he was signed, we were having centre back issues which people are very quick to forget. Our defensive record last year was based on the Branthwaite/Tarkowski partnership. Neither featured in pre-season and both had issues, that’s why the focus switched from an attacking player (Gnonto) to a central defender. You, me or anyone else still don’t know if that was a good signing or a poor one because the manager won’t play him. Let’s wait and see what he produces when he gets his chance under a new manager.
More laughing emoji’s from @Eggs. Aren’t you a grown man close to or at retirement age? Grow up ffs. You have a blatant agenda against the director of football and it’s clear for all to see.

He’s an ashtray on a motorbike. Totally utterly pointless.
