You mean the same player who struggled with form and confidence for a large portion of last season. Yes. Like many youngsters, now in the past and in the future they are included in preseason tours to gain experience.

Kenny had been included in European squads prior to going out on loan. So, the fact is he was Unsworths player, and he along with Walsh more than likely ok’d the deal for him to gain experience because he quite weak last season, a point Unsworth alluded to himself
