When you get back here Kieran you'd better hope that year in the Championship has served you well because we have neither the time nor patience for your development here. You need to be ready to hit the ground running or you'll be out. You've seen what's happened with Barkley, he wasn't good enough so we effing well made sure he was aware of it and now he's all but gone.

Great loan this. Happy hes doing so well.
How frustrating is it to see him down there scoring like that when we are desperate here?

I and others got absolutely slaughtered for questioning that loan deal.

Now it's like something taunting us form afar: its ours but we cant use it.

Unreal.
I'm really happy the loan's going well. Don't see any down side personally, itll be great experience for him in the long run and could be the making of him.

He's playing in Sigurdsson's preferred position though and I think it's safe to assume sigurdsson is still the better first choice so not sure what the "unreal" reaction is about. He's not the player to save our season.

You can't be serious Dave or else this is the only time you have watched him all season.

His form has been patchy at best and even the Forest supporters have been critical of him.

I am delighted he has done well and I hope this is the kind of form he will now show on a more regular basis, but up to now he has not shown enough to suggest he is ready for the Premiership.
I think this move is perfect for him. It is allowing to adjust to a higher standard of football at a slower pace than would be expected of him in the premiership.

If he had played in our team up to now given our performances he would be absolutely slaughtered as he has gone missing too often in too many matches even for Forest.

By the time he is able to return, there won't be any season to save.
Seems to have found his feet now. Let's hope that he can improve even more and see what happens next season.

He's a different player to Sigurdsson.

The lad is a class act and some divvy sent him out on loan so we cant use him.

You dont know that.

And to expect a quicksilver player like him to be controlling a game at this stage is unrealistic. Not even players of huge influence like Hazard or De Bruyne do that all the time. And those operating below them like Ozil and Silva (now) have decent games and then poor games...but you wouldn't punt them out to Notts Forest would you?

Not really Dave, he will play much more at Forest than he would have here, Forest also play a type of footy which will suit him, and it's a very young squad they have so lot of players in a similar boat to share the pressure.

Overall it's good for the lad and hopefully good for his future here, will give you that as far as Koeman was concerned the loan was more to raise his value to sell him though, hopefully new manager will get a player much more seasoned and able to contribute next season.

Good lord...don't you realise we put up with years of Barkleys 'potential' with it never being realised...how old is he now.....180?
