He tends to fade but in fairness it could just be a case of getting used to senior football

I’ve not heard that. The only real negative I’ve read from forest fans is the drifting in and out of games thing.

They love him obviously but one massive note of caution that they seem to rate that lad Ollie Burke as a better prospect when he was with them. He now isn’t getting a game at West Brom (I think).

Other than that it’s general praise but comments about his naivety and not being ready for this level yet.

To be fair it’s 50/50. Some are absolutely besotted by him and think they’d basically be down without him.

Some think differently.

Burke just picked a really crap team style-wise to move to. He's awesome.

Might have something to do with the fact Burke was at Forest from about 9 and came through their academy mate, not exactly gonna be impartial when comparing him against a player they know they have on loan for a season before he goes away.

Weird all this obsession about speed. How fast is David Silva? Ozil? Eriksen? Mata? Fabregas? And that's just right at the top, there's an enormous list of players who have made a solid prem career who are equally as slow if not moreso. Dowell is fine, the major query over how well he does will mainly be down to quality of coaching and team's style of play.
