We failed as we had the stars but no supporting cast. Now we have the supporting cast and no stars.

He's dead on. Martinez is a former manager of ours whose never been anything less than complimentary about us and I find it disrespectful for people to continuously slate the guy.

I'm sick of people taking a point made on here and then turning it into a "but el fraudo" blah blah blah, that time has passed..

Mike Walker was far worse but he never gets 1% of this vitriol.

Given Daniel Levy's comments this past day about the current spending by clubs being unsustainable, it's completely likely that Spurs are doing what Spurs do- holding out till the end of the window when they think we're desperate for the money and will take any old offer just so Barkley doesn't leave on a free next summer. Unfortunately for them we don't need any money to pay our electricity bills anymore, but unfortunately for us letting him go on a free makes no business sense financially. Whilst we are moving forward, it is always completely naive and foolish to let a good player get to the point where they only have 18 months to go. Hopefully the new regime never lets such a situation arise again

He is a fraud who managed to ruin years of stability. The reason he gets the amount of hate is because it is in recent memory.
