By that logic ............Koeman is playing the system Robbie left him ??/??......Lolz Dave C'mon Man ! Must try harder !!Koeman was playing the system Pochettino left him.
Crazy argument to say Pochettino isn't head and shoulders above Koeman.
Our last manager won more credible trophies than this manager we have now.
Yes, more in a week than you will earn in a year (or five).Oh yeah "the massive contract".
*sigh*
Close the thread, this^ says it allI am 32; I have supported the club since I was 6 and class myself as a blue. Season ticket for 15 years in total.
I am massively confident when I say that there would be nothing which would stop me playing for the club if I was a professional. Nothing. The only way I would leave is literally if the club decided to sell me.
I cant imagine the circumstances in which I would want to reject a deal from the club I love. You can sod your 'parity with others' and 'wanting a better deal'. To play for Everton, as an Evertonian, is the pinnacle and there is no amount of money which could make up for playing for the club.
I think Ross has been badly advised to the hilt here. Imagine being his agent and saying 'you can do better elsewhere' when in all realistic likelihood, Barkley is currently playing at a level which befits his talent/maturity. I dont blame Ross in a way as I suspect he is being taken advantage of. I do however hold him purely responsible for acting in such a petulant manner to allow him to be taken advantage of.
The 'boy' is 23/24. He should be man enough to stand up for himself, fight for his place in a team and fight for the team he loves.
Its a tragic situation really (in football terms) and I imagine his parents must be apoplectic at how there boy / agent is treating the club he supposedly loves.
The sad thing for Ross is he is probably too naive to understand the journey this club is embarking on; he is giving up his opportunity to captain the club into the new stadium, go down as a hero and act as a shining light for one of the pillars of the club, its fantastic academy.
To me, this is a big kick in the balls to those who have contributed to his development, shown patience and given him the freedom to make mistakes. Koeman is the right man to iron out his obvious flaws, but it is seemingly too much of a fight for Ross.
To give up on the club he loves is startling but frankly, this will be forgotten about in six weeks time as the club will move on much more quicker than he ever will. At times Ross has been cowardly and introverted on the pitch, and it seems he is now starting to off the pitch.
Ha Ha Ha.
I hope this feller is half the manager Pochettino is...we may win something.
He had injuries in 2014 and missed a lot of games.

He's rumoured to be off to spurs. He lost his place in the England team to deli ali. If he goes to spurs what does he think is going to happen? He will get even less game time so how is that going to get him back into the England side. Hodgsons comments were downright laughable the other day. Bloke is clearly losing his marbles. Can't see him being in a better situation by moving to spurs one bit.You can't put yourself in his position, mate. Not defending him, but the pressure he is constantly under from us lot is enormous. Has been for years and in that sense, I can't really blame him for wanting a break.
I suspect there are many reasons that Ross is leaving. I also believe losing his place in the England team might have played a part, maybe he thinks playing for a bigger club will get him back in it.
That said, think he's better off sitting put. It's hard to tell now, but nobody wants Ross to succeed as much as us Evertonians.

Why would that be the case mate, when Pochettino has never won anything as a manager?
He wont have to drop to the likes of Bournemouth when Spurs, Arsenal and maybe one of the other top six clubs will want him.
