Barkley going out on the lash and getting into fights in nightclubs does nothing for the image of our club, or our city for that matter.

It's a frustrating day to be an Evertonian.

Ross is a class player. I don't know why he's made the decision he has and at the end of the day only he knows that.

It's gutting in the sense that we all wanted him to become our talisman, and I think we've now built a squad he could really thrive in and become just that player.

That's the most annoying thing. He's chosen to leave at what seems the ideal time to stay.

But it is what it is. We still will get a more than decent fee for him and if Spurs think they'll be able to get him on the cheap, they'll have another thing coming.

Priority now for me is getting Gylfi sorted and ensuring we have that position already covered.

It's a good day to be an Evertonian toff, because we are one day closer to a game tomorrow

He's had one season, having taken over the absolute dross I watched while Leicester picked up their title. He is making his own team and this season will tell us what he is about........

To say Barkley needs a new challenge is laughable, he hasn't completed his last challenge.
What better stage for his talent than his home town club now that it has shown some resolve to make improvements. I don't know what he is doing but I doubt it is driven by an overwhelming need to be challenged.

Exited group stage last season in his only time so far, very impressive record in the CL so far.

Btw mate Koeman has managed a team to the CL quarter final first season, group stage two years in a row and last 16.

Good news actually. I think we were too focused on Ross and Rom last season. With both of them out of the way I hope that we can become more diverse and tricky to play. And as for Ross, his career looks about to move into crash and burn mode.

Not sure that's true: Stones similarly never got a look in on the pitch...until he moved to City. Then he became an automatic starter.
