Player Valuation: £150m
No, he spent £100M. £100M of recycled money - half of which was mugged off him by no mark clubs who saw what an utter mug he is.But I thought he'd only spent £7m

Rawk-esh
Ok mate, in fact I'll cry myself to sleep every night 'remembering' it.When the season starts and we struggle for goals against the top sides we face in the first five games
Just remember we didn't replace Lukaku and that's why

Maybe nobody wants to sell their 20/25 goals per season proven prem striker.Criminal selling lukaku and not having a solid replacement lined up. School boy management. Just like old times.
There's nothing throwaway about this feller's comments. He has an intended target for every comment he makes.
He's spent £100M so far. Time for him to take some responsibility for his idiotic overspend and getting mugged off by two-bit clubs because they knew they were dealing with an impatient Everton manager who refused to bargain them down. They took us to the cleaners and now we have to wait on Barkley and others to be sold to start spending on key positions.

Because it doesn't work. Youth success isn't a great indicator and the big clubs are already buying up the more or less sure fire hits like Mbappe and Jesus for big money and giving them first team football. Even players like Sanchez and Deulofeu etc have failed so far to live up to the hype.I have a great idea
Why don't we hunt down some if the best young talent in Europe
Put them in our awesome u 23 team or send them out in loan where they will get experience .... then gradually ease them into
The first team as they are either ready or the current player declines ....
I think that's what I would do
Except he's about as close to the negotiations as you or me.There's nothing throwaway about this feller's comments. He has an intended target for every comment he makes.

Difference between January and now is that the sympathy wont all be with him on the matter. Most blues' reaction to yesterday's comments was to do a double take and wonder wtf he was complaining about.
I said it earlier: he is now playing the second instalment of a very dangerous game in openly casting aspersions about the the club's squad investment. If we dont get good results and and he plays that hand again he'll be hurtling toward the exit.
You dont buy a dog for close on £7M per season and expect to be continually bitten by it.
And then console yourself with the fact that Lukaku wouldnt have scored against any of them anyway.
OkThe media aren't making out anything. It's the fans who were deluded

Guess he might have to look around for 3 or 4 players that chip in with 10 goals apiece instead.
