That money saved wont be there in the summer. History hammers that point home. It's that type of mentality that forgives lack of spending in the here and now when we desperately need quality signings in key areas in. But the bigger spend in the next window NEVER comes for this club. The board rely on people believing against their own instincts that there will be that money there. It wont be, and Martinez will be forced again into making money for the owners in the summer rather than spending what was saved in this and the last window. Why kid yourself that Martinez is making an either/or decision here? He's not. He's handcuffed by financial restraints, it isn't that he doesn't want to use the 17M he's generated as a surplus in player trading - it's that he's not allowed to.
An appalling case, Coach. Two things, however; it is a vast leap on from what transpired here to the case study you cite. And, second, how and why can you assume what I may or may not read? I think you have just demonstrated what a judgemental person you are. And how wrong. QED.If you don't like the Mail, The Mirror, The Express or The Sun you might like The Guardian then. Here is an article which talks about why verbal abuse should be challenged since it is the feeding ground for worse things. I expect you won't bother to read the article but here is an extract which is highly relevant to you,

You're welcome!
It's hard to disprove what DaveK is saying.
Money from transfer profits go mysteriously missing, it's so obvious.
Everton should be in a healthy financial state at present. We are told all of our loans are manageable, there has been no negative outlay for how many windows now, and in at least the last 2 windows we have made a healthy profit.
How any of you can argue against that is a tad baffling.
should but arent. we're run by people that couldnt run a tuck shop.

If only it was that simple.
We aren't are we really?
Kenwright is a succesful businessman, as are the people he works with. Something stinks to high heaven and unless the club are ever challenged on it, I guess they will continue to make money disappear under "other operating costs!".

Lacina Traore is the thread title. But yet again it´s been hijacked to tell us all how bad the club is , how we are being run into the ground . It´s the same with every thread . It´s a clear as crystal. Some on here could not see the positives from a lottery win . It´s been the same for years . Some of the cynicism is astounding . And quite frankly boring . It happens on nearly evey single thread .

To be fair though, it happens because the issue of how the club is run has an impact on so many areas.
